Three Generations of Making It Right

Taqueria El Naranjo started as a family kitchen with a simple rule: if it wouldn't feed your own table, don't serve it to anyone else. That standard hasn't changed.

Every tortilla is pressed by hand before dawn. Every batch of salsa is roasted fresh. We source our meats from local butchers and our produce from Houston markets. This isn't a chain — it's a neighborhood institution, and we take that seriously.
